Youth Ministry Coordinator

Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church is seeking a person part-time, 20-25 hrs per week, to coordinate the different youth ministries in our congregation. This person will work with the Pastor and new and existing members to develop and coordinate educational ministry activities for youth ages preschool through high school and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience with congregational youth work, the ability to develop leaders and teams, and the enthusiasm and desire to further the church's mission.

Applicants will be able to understand the overall scope of youth ministries and possess outstanding sensitivity to the spiritual and emotional needs of diverse youth.

The person for this position will have good interpersonal skills, be organized and possess strong verbal and written communication abilities.
