SOTP Scouts
Thank You SOTP!
SOTP’s Huntley Troop 200 flag with SOTP on it has made it to the Baldy Mountain summit at the Scouting America Philmont Scout Ranch in the far corner of northeast New Mexico.
This is part of a 12 day adventure including riding the Amtrak Southwest Chief 20 hours each way. Today the two crews broke camp by 5am to traverse the 4,030 feet of elevation gain in less than five hours. The geological survey pin on top of the mountain has them at 12,441 feet.
We are proud of our seven plus years relationship with you. Thank you for the continued support and willingness to allow our troop to gather at your church. We are grateful for all that you do for our Troop 200 and Pack 467.
Yours in Scouting, Trent
