Christmas in July

Christmas in July Generosity in Action 

Thanks for your giving this year to ELCA World Hunger’s Christmas in July. Our goal was to raise $5,000 in order to make a difference and transform the lives of families in ELCA community partners facing food, both locally and across the globe. We have surpassed our goal and have raised over $5,500!!!

A variety of “ornaments” for gifts were available, as

well as opportunities to give on-line. We received

the following gifts:

• 14 “couple” of goats and 2 soup kitchens ($100)
• 12 goats ($50)
• 1 school fees ($40)
• 11 pigs, 6 vaccinations and 2 water filters ($30)
• 10 honeybees ($20)
• 1 rooster ($15)
• 6 chicks, 10 school supplies, 5 backpacks ($10)
